Project Description
The project consisted of a double layer liner system, geotextile underlay, and 60 mil HDPE liner. It also included an overlay layer of geotextile on the base and up the slope 1 meter for cover fill on the base for ballast. ECI-designed and built access/egress ladders in our fabrication plant to allow for easy access to and out of pond in a safe and non-damaging manner.
outcome
The project went well and was completed on time. ECI has completed a number of these types of ponds for this Owner.
lessons learned
Providing quality work with zero incidents allows for repeat work with GC’s and Owners as many containment projects are not being well-executed.
