Project Description
Phase 1
Complete all 5 tank base liners that tied into a concrete tank base. The liner extended out past the construction of a ring road to allow for both the construction of steel tanks and Phase 2 liner construction.
Phase 2
Extending the tank lot area liner out to a precast concrete wall including all the Pile Boot Penetrations with tie-ins to the Phase 1 liner.
Phase 3
Tie-in to precast concrete walls around 3 sides. The 4th side involved some ECI value-engineered solutions due to wall design.
outcome
The Project was a great success for the Owner along with both the Engineering firm and ECI.
lessons learned
Working closely and communicating daily with all stakeholders led to a project completed on schedule, on budget, and without safety incidents.
